How many claims are covered under my plan?

Device Protection Plan

For loss, theft and accidental damage, there is a maximum of two (2) covered claims within a rolling 12-month period, based on the date of the first replacement or repair. There is no limit on the number of approved claims for hardware service or mechanical/electrical breakdown.

For Plans purchased prior to September 17, 2020:

Equipment Protection Plan for Android Smartphones, All Tablets, Feature Phones, & Data Connect Devices

There is no limit to the number of approved claims for Android smartphones, tablets, feature phone and data connect devices under the Equipment Protection Plan.

Equipment Protection Plan for iPhone

With the Premier Plan, you’re eligible for one approved claim, at which point the Plan will terminate. After your approved claim, you’ll be automatically upgraded to the Complete Plan to ensure you have continuous protection.

With the Complete Plan, you’re eligible for two claims within a 12-month period. Coverage will terminate upon your second approved claim within that period.

How long do I have to file a claim?

You must file a claim within 90 days of the incident.

 

What is the fastest way to file a claim?

Completing your claim online at www.mywirelessclaim.com/bluegrass-cellular is quick and easy. Simply visit the Homepage on this site and enter your mobile number on the File or Track My Claim box. You can also call 1-888-352-9183.

What do I need to start a claim?

Only someone authorized on the account can file a claim. To expedite your experience, we recommend you have the following items handy before beginning:

  • Your Bluegrass Cellular wireless number, ESN, or IMEI
  • Your device model and storage size
  • Description of what happened to your device and date of incident
  • Your billing ZIP code (for security purposes)
  • Payment method for service fee/deductible (credit card, debit card or eCheck)
  • Proof of loss, such as police report (only required in certain instances)
  • Contact info (we may ask for your government-issued ID)

What is the importance of providing a valid email address?

Having an email address allows us to provide you with important status updates regarding your claim. You will get messages when your claim is approved, when your device is shipped, and be provided a tracking number to confirm delivery of your device.

How can I determine my device's manufacturer and model?

Check your device's original packaging and/or your original receipt. Bluegrass Cellular may also have the make and model on file, so you may contact them directly at 1-800-928-2355.

What if I can't find the ESN/IMEI for my device?

Your device's serial number is 8-18 digits and may be listed as IMEI or ESN. This number is typically located under the battery or on the original device packaging, on your purchase receipt, or you may call Bluegrass Cellular at 1-800-928-2355.

How do I determine whether any additional information or documentation is required for my claim to be processed?

Sometimes, additional information or documentation is required before a claim can be approved, such as proof of loss or identification. To help prevent delays after you’ve submitted your claim, view your claim status to see if any additional information is required. To do this, follow these four easy steps:

  1. Enter your mobile number, ESN, or IMEI in the File or Track My Claim box on the homepage of mywirelessclaim.com/bluegrass-cellular and click Submit.
  2. Once your number has been verified, click Track My Claim.
  3. Enter your Zip Code and key in the numbers/letters, including any spaces into the box. Then click Continue.
  4. Click on the My Claim Documents tab to verify whether your claim documents have been received or if additional information is needed.

How can I check the status of my claim?

Check the status of your claim anytime by visiting mywirelessclaim.com/bluegrass-cellular and following these four easy steps.

  1. Enter your mobile number, ESN, or IMEI in the File or Track My Claim box on the homepage of mywirelessclaim.com/bluegrass-cellular and click Submit.
  2. Once your number has been verified, click Track My Claim.
  3. Enter your Zip Code and then key in the numbers/letters, including any spaces into the box. Then click Continue.
  4. Tabs will appear to provide you with additional information as you move through the claims process. Simply click on each tab for details.
